Chisholm Tails is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7 am to 7 pm. Daycare is closed on Sunday and Monday, but we are open for boarding pick-up and drop-off by appointment. 

Drop your pet off between 3 and 7 on the drop-off day or make arrangements with staff for a drop-off appointment at another time convenient for you. 

Pick up is before noon. If you are unable to make a noon pickup, not a problem. Your pup will be enrolled in daycare until you arrive. 

Please provide food for your dog for the entire duration of its overnight stay. If you do not, we will ensure that your dog is fed with our kennel kept dog food. An additional fee will be applied to the stay for kennel kept food. In addition, feel free to bring your dog's favorite treats, medication (if applicable), toys, bed, or other items to make them feel at home. 

Choose any drop off time.  Half day daycare is up to 4 hours and full day up to 8 hours. No appointment necessary. Be sure to arrive for pick-up 15 minutes prior to close of business. 

Please notify us if you are running late. Your dog will enjoy daycare at the regular rates awaiting your arrival.

Not necessarily, but we may reach capacity on any given day and be unable to accept additional daycare dogs without reservations. We recommend to call ahead to confirm availability. 

All dogs undergo a temperament evaluation to ensure they’re comfortable in a group setting and that they’ll have a positive experience on their first day before being placed in a play group. 

We have playtime between 9-12, rest from 12-2 and more play from 2-4 before pups are brought in to be cleaned up for pick-up or fed if they are boarding overnight. Daycare pups  have a private kennel for rest periods and while awaiting pickup. 

Outdoor play in our half-acre private dog park in hand-picked play groups. The park has areas for small and large dogs to enjoy supervised play under large shade trees. Our care providers interact with the pups to ensure the dogs are stimulated and behaving in a friendly manner. Fresh water is provided at all times and dogs are monitored for excessive exhaustion. 

If weather is exceptionally cold, hot or rainy, Chisholm Tails has a climate-controlled indoor play area. 

Absolutely! We welcome dogs of all breeds, age, shapes, and sizes. We carefully assess each dog’s temperament to ensure  a good fit for group play for daycare. 

No, staff is not available overnight at this time. 

All dogs must be up-to-date on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (DAPP), and Bordetella (kennel cough). Please provide proof of vaccination before your first visit.

Your pup’s safety is our top priority. In the unlikely event of an issue, we’ll contact you immediately and, if necessary, take your dog to the nearest veterinarian.

Yes, we accept intact males for boarding and daycare on a limited basis and based upon their temperament. We accept un-spayed females except during their heat cycle. Females in heat are not accepted for daycare or boarding.
